Sick as a DOG

I have been infected by those disgusting germs and have been achy, sneezy, coughy, and DOPEY, for the past 4 days....I hate colds, I hate germs...I guess they know thats why they seem to attack me so much.....
And I've noticed that as I get older...they hit me harder...or maybe I'm just too old and can't tolerate being sickly so well....
Had about 5 BEN-GAY patches on my back, neck, shoulders etc.....yes that's right I smelled pretty....pretty like my 93 yr old Grammy....
Took nyquil, dayquil, motrin, eucanecia (however you spell it) lemon tea, chamomile tea.....you name it I took it, popped it, swallowed it, sniffed it.....and still nothing seemed to work....
Yet as a dutiful entrepeneur (as I called myself) I spent my whole day yesterday filling out orders and packaging orders .....so they can get to the lovely people who are having their soiree's in time....
So I will get back into the swing of blog things this week just in time for Halloween....toodles.

Costumes
Halloween is 10 days away.....do you have your kids costumes ready? Around my house it's Halloween 365 days a year since my son loves to parade in his different costumes (as you all know by now) every day!

But I will be purchasing the coolest customized superhero cape from Baby Bop over at Etsy. These are the cutest and coolest capes I've seen (damn I want one for myself)

Budget Weddings
As we all know economically....times are tough....we are all trying to cut back on those little luxuries we took for granted, because obviously now they don't fit our budgets. But everyone still has special events in their life which they want to celebrate...even if it is to have a small inexpensive birthday party or a smaller wedding.

I have received so many inquiries from brides who are planning their weddings in these tough times...who don't have the budget to shell out for pricey favors, invitations, flowers etc....but who still want to have a beautiful budget friendly event.
In the past few months I have custom made several different invitations for several different brides: on a budget.
So this is wher my new line of budget weddings comes in.....
I have added to my collection a 3 piece set which includes the invitation, reception card and response card for $3.00! (envelopes included of course with return address printed)
Elegant invitations that won't break the bank. My clients have been extremely happy and excited about them so now I decided to offer them on my website as well as my etsy shop( will be listed in the coming week)
Here are a few of those designs (more coming soon)

Follow Me...
I added the follow me blogger widget to my blog...so if you think my blog is interesting or jam packed with earth shattering stories (it never is trust me)....add me to your follow list...would love to meet some of you!

Candy Buffet

I love candy, c'mon who doesn't? I don't eat much of it ...cause ya know "a minute on the lips equals a lifetime on the hips" but I love the idea of having a candy buffet at your party! I've seen so many pretty and decorative apothecary jars that you can fill with a variety of candies in endless colors that look marvelous.
My son's birthday is in a few months and I most definitely will be incorporating this in the fiesta. Here are some awesome candy buffets (pics found online)
