Since my little assignment of having to pick one image to sum up my style yesterday (previous post) I found so many images of clean white interior decor that I absolutely love...and am sharing with you. Hard to keep clean but oh so pretty!

My Style...

I was tagged by the lovely Jaimee from Modern Classics in what I'm going to refer as a homework like task. Well Ok not homework...because this was actually quite alot of fun, but it took me a long time to find something that is...well, me......you have to find one image that represents your style. I enjoyed this tremendously and spent quite a bit of time looking through many images. I had such a hard time just picking one ( that I will post all the other lovelies in another post)

I love a clean, simple and modern look, I am a huge fan of white interior home decor and this image sums me up.

Don't Judge a Book.....

BY IT'S COVER...if there ever was a moral to a story this is surely the one in this case. Maybe some of you have seen it, maybe some of you have not this video clip is from Britians Got Talent, it shows Susan Boyle a contestant as she makes her way to the stage to have her chance and compete. Just as she walks up to the stage you can start hearing chuckles from the audience and looks from the judges. Why? Why are people so judgemental? You can see the looks the judges give each other when she steps on the stage as well as those of the audience. This gets me so F****** MAD! I despise when people smirk at someone because they look different or don't look like what the media has brainwashed us with what pretty should be!

I was soooooo HAPPY and started to cry my eyes out when Susan started to sing and everyone felt like CRAP! You can see the shock in their faces when she starts singing and her amazing voice fills that hall. This is truly a perfect example of the horrible way we judge others. One of the judges even said afterwards "Susan when you walked on stage everyone was laughing at you, but there is no one laughing now."

Everyone should watch this video and let your children watch it too, it's a perfect lesson to teach your children at a young age that they should not judge others who might be different or look different.

Just remember that God made us all the same!

Sitemeter Sells Out to Spyware

Just a quick note to all of you out there, I know alot of you including myself use sitemeter to track your site stats. I was just on my blog updating and such and I kept getting some sort of error message that my page could not be displayed. I searched for this message and it seems that sitemeter is adding tracking cookies which are spyware to sites that use their counter. I just removed sitemeter from my blog, I pay for their service and was just to go on their site to cancel it and obviously I can't get on! So as I write this I'm scanning my computer for spyware. So heads up folks!

My name is...

Vanessa and I'm a Coca-Cola addict. It's true, I've known I had a problem for years, but have been in denial, since everyone tells me how bad it is for you and how it makes holes in your stomach and all that nonesense...which I obviously don't pay attention to. I finally saw the light on friday when I opened a twelve can pack early in the morning (well not that early just after my coffee) and by 7pm that day they were all gone...yes it's true I had 12 cans of coke on friday.

Usually it doesn't phase me when I polish off a 2 liter bottle in one day...that bottle doesn't seem to hold enough...but when I saw 12 empty cans that sent a message..granted not a message that I should stop drinking coke it was more of a I-need-to-get-my-butt-to-target-and-buy-more kind of message.

Coke it's just like the juice of the gods to me. Why does it have to be so damn good? It just brings happiness it makes me want to:

Buy the world a home

And furnish it with love

Grow apple trees and honey bees

And snow white turtle doves.

I'd like to teach the world to sing

In perfect harmony

I'd like to buy the world a Coke

And keep it company

Now....That's the real thing!!!
