Yesterday I told you about the Northside Market in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. So when I stopped by there I came across an awesome vendor....Father Panik Industries. Immediately I fell in love with their products!
I got this shirt....which I'm sporting today. I purchased this color but they are available in other ones as well. It is the Tokyo Ravens organic cotton tee.

And this necklace which I didn't get...and I'm kicking myself for not getting it! But I'm headed to the website to purchase it, because I must have it! And in my Googling expertise I just found Father Panik has an etsy shop too! I am so loving this Badass knuckle necklace! And it will be mine!

On my many strolls this past summer, one of my favorite places to go to all the time is Williamsburg, Brooklyn. With all the cute shops, markets and so much more I just love hanging out there. I came across the Northside Market, which is a new indoor pop up market, which showcases food, artists, musicians and handmade products....when it opens up again if you are in the NY area you should definitely check it out. I am planning on becoming a vendor when they re-open, so come by and say Hello!

Deanna from Mirabelle Creations sent us this adorable Ice Cream Party to celebrate the last day of school! We loved it the moment we saw it. How cute is this? I love the color scheme and the chalk board with all the ice cream flavors.

"The main component is the Ice Cream Toppings Table. My family has recently become a little addicted to Orange Leaf frozen yogurt restaurant. Unfortunately, the nearest store is about 40 minutes from our house; not close enough to take all the neighborhood kids. But, the Orange Leaf concept inspired my design with the fresh orange and lime color palette and large array of topping choices."

"I designed the modern, simple paper items and accented with some scrapbook paper from Martha Stewart. I kept the drink table options simple – citrus water or sparkling tangerine juice. Since the kids would be eating the treats after school, but before supper, ice cream was the only dessert we served. But, the kids had plenty of choices -- four ice cream flavors, two syrups and twelve topping choices. The best part of the party was seeing all the great topping combinations the kids chose. It really reflected each of their personalities."

Glittery Ballerina Birthday Party

When I saw this Ballerina Party at Blowout Party, I was speechless...and that's hard for me! The only word that came to mind was "WOW".
Amy created the most elegant and oh so pretty Pink Ballerina Birthday Party for her daughter. I am amazed at the details...(click on the pictures for a larger image)did you see that backdrop? The silhouette of the Ballerina looks amazing in the center of the drapes. I wish I had one for my office!

Amy did everything by herself...she even made the cake! How amazing are those cute little fondant ballerina slippers? I really love the pink milk bottles...even though Amy said they were not a big hit with the kids..I think they look smashing with the straws!

You really have to click on the picture below to see the pretty meringue ballerinas and cupcakes. The detail is fantastic and I think it's such a great idea...it looks beyond pretty!

If you live on the East Coast...you are probably sick of the winter we've been having! If you live in NYC...you still haven't forgotten our Dec 2010 blizzard fiasco.

Need a pick me up? A little Cheer? Well the Open House Gallery in Nolita is hosting a Public "Indoor Park" going on through Jan 30th.

The space has been transformed into a springy outdoor haven complete with benches and faux shrubbery! There will be plenty of events taking place...yoga classes, movies on the lawn, lunch breaks! I just think it's fantastic and will probably head on over there this weekend! Check it out for yourselves if you are in the NYC area! Open House Gallery is located at 201 Mulberry Street. 11 am to 6pm daily.

I love to ready party blogs and one of them happens to be JC's Loft...when Paula sent me the link to her older son's Cowboy Party..I was beyond thrilled! I simply love all the details she created to make this an extraordinary party!!
I love the invite...it was hand delivered rolled up and tied with red satin ribbon!

Isn't that cupcake star stand amazing? Paula did that all herself and it is the main focus of the dessert table! She will be giving a tutorial on how she made it!!

How cute is the fence table centerpiece with Jake's name on it???

I love the colors and it how it tied the theme in so perfectly! Take a look at the cowboy boot goodie bag.

I wanted to do something "new" in the New Year....with everything I have to do..Hey why not add something else to the list? So I decided to do the 365 project.

What is that you ask? It's taking a photo a day for 365 days! I have to say I am quite enjoying it so far. It will help me sharpen my photography skills and add more creativity to my way of thinking. I love it because everyday I'm looking forward to taking a picture of something unique and creative. So I will be sharing my pics with you weekly as well as uploading them to our Flickr album here. Alice in Wonderland Birthday Party Centerpiece

I hardly have any time on my hands to be as crafty as I used to be...my craftyness now is mostly using a computer and designing paper products...which I LOVE, but my trusty glue gun needs some lovin' too!

So when my son's best bud decided she wanted an Alice in Wonderland birthday party (which they used my invite :) I jumped at the chance to break out Ol' Betsy (that's my glue gun's name if you need to know) and think of something creative for the decoration!

I put the noggin to use and decided to make a centerpiece for the table! But not any ordinary centerpiece would do! So I ordered some supplies....which in another post I will tell how I made it :) Began working on it and Voila below is what I made. What do you think?

I really love how it looked on the table with the pretty decorations and the amazing color scheme!

I was thrilled everyone loved it...but especially the birthday girl! Happy Birthday Tal!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Birthday Party (The DETAILS)

I have received a numerous amount of e-mails about my son's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party I did last year....since I am always in need of time...My apologies on not being able to respond to all e-mails ....so to provide some info on how I can be of help....below are the details :)

THE PIZZA BOXES:

The pizza boxes were purchased from Sam's Club...it was a pack of 50 for like $15.00 (you can't beat that!)

The graphics were designed by me and printed on sticker paper to adhere to the boxes.

TEE SHIRTS:

Purchased the tee shirts at Michael's and once again I designed the graphics and printed them out on iron on transfer paper (which you can purchase at Michael's or at any office supply store) Best to print them out on an inkjet printer...cut out your design and get to ironing!

THE CENTERPIECE:

Was done by yours truly.
With cake dummies (styrofoam) and green craft foam from Michaels to cover it.
My trusty glue gun
Green Paint
Little eyes
I took styrofoam balls and cut them in half, painted them green,attached some eyes...and cut out the TMNT masks from foam
Purchased a foam "C" and glitterized it and glued it to the top

THE CAKE:
Was NOT done by me...I'm crafty not a baker ;)
The cake was created by the one and only Mona from CMNY cakes in Long Island New York. From my previous posts of my son's birthdays you know she is my go to designer for cakes....simply AMAZING! I LOVE her....I just tell her what I want and she magically makes it!

And yes....I am currently working on my son's upcoming birthday...still in the process of waiting for the child to decide what kind of birthday he wants....ahhhh a mother's job is never done!

Pirate Birthday Parties are quite popular....I know because I've designed countless of invitations for them. But this Pirate Party takes it to a whole new level! Once again Treasures and Tiaras has taken a simple theme and made it into something truly amazing! Look at the amazing detail in that table centerpiece...complete with sand and all! I think my son's next birthday will be a Pirate Party...I will try and be this creative...but it's highly unlikely!

What am I going to bitch and complain about today you ask???? The answer is: NOTHING! You want to know why? Because I'm not here! Yes. it's true I'm on a little vacation enjoying the last few weeks of freedom (a.k.a summer) I've left the good ol' blog on auto pilot and have set up some amazing Birthday Party posts...so later on today...there will be another Birthday Party for you to feast your eyes on! It's going to be Party Week (probably two!) at Paper Chick, thanks to the amazing creativity of Treasures and Tiaras, from South Africa. Tuesday Tantrums

So I wanted to add a feature to my blog...I've been around the blogging world for some time (granted a good blogger I am not) so obviously I've seen the "Wordless Wednesdays"---but I love to chat it up and I really don't feel like googling around to find a picture that will be non-word worthy (try saying that 3x fast)... so I won't be jumping on the Wordless Wednesday bandwagon anytime soon. I decided to do something I like....Bitch & Complain....so therefore I will be having Tuesday Tantrums!

Why is it that when we were wee tots our summer vacations seemed endless??? I remember spending my summers in Florida and though I loved every minute of it...it felt like an eternity. Flash forward to now...and summer is almost over...how did that happen??? I hate the fact that in a few weeks school will start, fall will be on it's way opening the doors to winter and that wretched snow. I love Summer. It makes me Giddy. I get a chance to do what I love best. BEING LAZY. Being lazy is the most wonderful feeling in the world. I should just bottle it and sell it on street corners...but that's another post.

I go on vacations. Do less work. No need to fight with the child to do homework, or iron uniforms and all the crap that comes with school. Most importantly I get to SLEEP LATE. At my age a girl needs her beauty sleep.

Now my heaven will be interrupted in T-Minus 22 days and I am not liking it. Let the stinkin' countdown begin

About a year and a half ago we posted these Princess Ball Gown Invitations, which we designed for our friends little girl. We had offered them for a while but then discontinued them. After that post we have received hundreds of e-mails asking for those invites. Unfortunately, we are a tad busy around here and it has been nearly impossible answering all the e-mails. So I made a little trip to bed bath and beyond and picked up one of these Bodum French Press makers, and let me tell you I am in LOVE!!! Back in December I went to the Bust Magazine's Holiday Craftacular. There were many amazing artists. I stumbled upon Queens Metal's booth and instantly fell in love.
