My bouncing baby boy
Five years ago today
You filled my heart with joy.
A preemie you were born
So tiny and so frail
I knew you were a fighter
I knew you would prevail
Finally came the day
When home you would be
The lord had protected you
And sent you home to me
Day by day you show
What a true miracle you are
A healthy boy, a happy boy
My shining super star.
Nothing makes me prouder
Or can give me greater joy
That I was blessed to be your mommy
